Since 1966 all Arto products have been designed and handcrafted in Southern California.  All Arto products can be installed in both interior and exterior applications thanks to their durable concrete composition.

From his unique perspective as both an artisan (in trades ranging from ceramics to shoemaking) and an installer (working in many of the grand estates of Los Angeles, Malibu, and Beverly Hills) Arto saw a need for products that were both beautiful and easy to install.  His first product – a lightweight, clay thin brick veneer – proved immediately popular with his demanding clients and in the broader market.

All Arto products have been manufactured with concrete since the energy crisis of the early 1970’s.  As the cost to fire Arto’s kilns skyrocketed he hit upon using concrete as an energy-efficient alternative medium.  Arto loved the warmth and dynamic nature of the medium plus he could create a wider array of colors and shapes since he was no longer bound by the limitations of clay.    The Arto product line has since grown to include tile, pavers, pool coping, wall caps, pier caps, balusters, moldings and more.
